ICA Canada joins the call to end the Anglophone Crisis in Cameroon
On October 24th in Cameroon, at least 7 schoolchildren were shot and killed in Kumba (SW region of Cameroon), with reports indicating 12 more children were critically injured. As an organization that supports education in Cameroon, we are devastated to hear this news and our hearts and prayers are with the town of Kumba and family of these children. There have been so many lives lost and so many children and families impacted by the atrocities of this armed conflict. We ask you to please read the letter that we have signed along with over thirty other organizations. Please and share it, so we can bring awareness and put pressure to stop this violence.
It’s time to call all governments and the UN to action so no more children or families get hurt!
