G.S Fossung

G.S. Fossung has a vibrant and very strong community support around the elementary school. Inspired by the neighboring school G.S. Nsoko that was built with the help of CIC and ICA, the now retired PTA Chairman, pushed his community to get organized and prepare the land, collect the required materials and to formulate a formal request to CIC to help with building additional classrooms.

Construction of the classrooms in Fossung is impacted by the conflict in the region. The classrooms were roughly 60% complete at the time construction had to be halted. The school in Fossung will be completed when CIC staff are permitted to travel to the village again.

ICA delegation was not permitted to travel to the area since the construction of the building has started. We look forward to meeting the students on a future trip to Cameroon.
